Why did we create Vina House?

Chung and Vivian crossed paths working together at a restaurant and talked about their vision of becoming small business owners. With the same mindset and love for food, they joined forces to create VINA HOUSE- a fun, lively space with flavourbomb Vietnamese sandwhiches, drinks and good vibes. Chung and Vivian are turning their dreams into reality one pop-up at a time!

  • CHUNG LE

    Chung, with his extensive experience in the hospitality and restaurant industry, has honed his skills and now aspires to pursue his dream of owning a small business in the same field. With a strong focus on guest experience, he aims to establish genuine relationships with customers and deliver the best products. His involvement in restaurant openings in Vancouver and Toronto has given him valuable insights, and his recent focus on plate presentation and food quality for high-end seafood items demonstrates his commitment to attention to detail. The opportunity to train various teams in the industry has further fueled his motivation to bring his vision to life - a welcoming space where people can enjoy themselves and foster an organic vibe. Chung enjoys riding his motorbike, telling dad jokes and seeing people smile.

  • VIVIAN WU

    Vivian is a certified Red Seal Chef with a marketing-entrepreneurship background. She has worked in various settings in the culinary industry with amazing chefs. Vivian is driven to challenge herself in this difficult industry and strives to build a successful food concept with her partner, Chung. Vivian is also the creative behind Yugo Sushi Bake, a pandemic-born small business that she created when she got laid off. She enjoys the creativity and freedom to express her interpretation of different cuisines and introduce traditional dishes reimagined in her own ways. Vivian enjoys hanging out with her french bulldog, eating fried chicken and playing sports.
